Young Israel of Santa Monica was founded in 1982 to serve an eclectic Beach community in a unique but traditional fashion. Famous Rabbis and congregrants have come and gone and continue to come. The membership is comprised of a full mixture of Jewish Diaspora with both ashkenazic and sephardic traditions.

Take a moment from strolling along the beach front and listen to the diverse melodies of the tephila. This congregation will make you feel at home, whether you are from Gilbraltar, Tunsia, Persia, South Africa, Bulgaria, or the Bronx.
